Shout out to Giffgaff
Anyways... after the recent shitty outage day, O2 credited its customers 65p each. Whereas Giffgaff emailed and asked whether we'd prefer a credit (90p) or for the money to go to charity.
A third of customers chose the latter, which means Crisis just got £387,039 to help support homeless people at the coldest time of year.
Well played Giffgaff. Gadget Girl approves. Shame about the other two thirds though - Crisis could have had a million...
LBC: O2 outage
Me on LBC about the O2 outage this morning at 2:36:30. Ironically poor quality cos interviewed over the phone... on O2.
